WMozzies Leaders “Pass the Torch”

Peter Freese became WMozzies Leader on 4 February 2026, World Cancer Day. A Strategic Meeting was held with the new and two past WMozzies Leaders ensuring the continued, dedicated support and advocacy for the Australian WM patient community. FUND RAISING TARGET COMPLETED.

Very excited to report that the $150,000 target has been achieved and the IWMF Roadmap Project will receive the funding as per their agreement with the Leukaemia Foundation. We are very grateful to all the people who donated and we can all be proud to be part of a project that looking very deep into WM and hopefully will lead to further & better treatments. We also wish to acknowledge the assistance of the Leukaemia Foundation in first of all entering into the agreement with the IWMF and helping us with the Donation Page.
